Need Help with forum placement

^ That is the link to the forum. Sorry for the lack of detail for the title, I don't really know what to call the problem. Anyways if you look into the forum, the main page, there are tons of forums. There are the main forums, and then the extensions. I was wondering if there was a way to hide the extensions from the main page and have them only be located and viewed if the person clicks on one of the main page forums.

For example is there a way to hide the Northern and Southern Water tribe extension threads into the main Water Tribe forum.

At the moment the main page is ridiculously long and I was hoping there was a way to down size it, but keep all the forums, any information regarding this is truly appreciated, thanks.

Try to go to your Administration Panel>>>>General>>>>under HOMEPAGE, click HIERARCHY>>>> choose MEDIUM or FULL under Split categories on index

Just see what set up you like the most.
