Medal System and Profile fields -

Hi,

I need to give members medals or Score points to be appear under the avatar ... I want to give tangible prizes for best reply or points for winners in certain competitions ... But I could not do that.

I tried to find out how to customize profile fields, or certain management for medals but couldn’t.

Can any one help me?

You could do a system of ranks and give an image per rank.
Thus you can have your different medals for as long as you want

Thanks for the reply , But I know that rank related to number of posts and I do not want to cancle that ,,, I saw in other forums ability to add more fields to user profile ,,, thanks any way ,,

Well, there is another way if you want:
Activate the PG character sheets, make a field: options, an assign your medal pictures. Also make them visble in posts

as you said regarding the medal picture.

Roleplay-->Character Sheet --> edit for the username --> image field ..

Can this picture appear under the avatar below the new field.

As long as in the configuration of the field:

Visible in the forums : (Limited to 3 fields)

is clicked

So there is no way to attach image .... What did u mean in the first reply regarding the images ,,,,

To attach an image:

Admin Panel => Roleplay Game => Configuration

Make your choice list
Example:
None
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Record

Then, you go fields style tab
You press edit on the choice list

In the Picture field, put the picture of the medal you want.

Hi .. its me again ,,, look I found out the assigned image in the configuration screen will appear under all members avatars ,,, mmm ,,, what I want is to show fiffernet images according to each member rank ,,, I mean each member with differnet image ,,,!!

Seems difficult with current situation ,, right?

In which situation?

Different Image Rank + Medal
Different Medal + Same Image Rank
Different Image Rank + Different Medal

Ok ,,, it will be as simple as this.

I created the score point system with your help (using charachter sheet?) and now each member has small caption under his avatar like this " Score Points=999".

Now ... we do competitions in the forum and the winner get a medal and extra scor points ,,, so ..

Adding & updating score point is easy ,, but adding small image as medal is the problem.( first solution ,, after adding the image it appears for all members ,,, but I want it for one only)

By the way ,,, I saw @ your forum under the avatar symbols pictures ..indicate gender & others ,,, How I can show these ,, maybe this will fix my problem if I can control the image.

i think we need the Karma thing , its like when one of your member did something nice you can click on a bottom +1 for ex.

so , all people can use it to add to each others and there is a time limit between every point for ex. 5 hours

i think that you need like all we need

As I said before, do you want the medal and the score intimately related (for example: 20 points = gold) or not (ex: winner of last competition = gold)?

Second Option ,,,

getting score points is not related to medals only ,,, so ,, if any one reach certain score ,,, not necessary to have medal ,,,

medal can come any time ,,, and will be for certain time ,,, then will removed ,,,

What I need now is the option to show another image for certain member only.

Ok, sorry for being so slow

Now you make another field: medal
Make it a choice list.
Add the different medal names
Validate
Through Admin Panel => Roleplay Game => Configuration
You have a tab Fields Style.
Where you have medal, click on edit and add a picture per medal

P.S: Don't forget a no medal rank


Also, for your points,
you can also have it as a bar
=> ex: 50 points out of a maximum of 1000
just a number
=> avoids having to make too many choices
