Please help! Problem with menu pictures?

Hi everyone, on my forum I decided to make some pictures as I know many do and uploaded them in place of the regular menu text. I did so-



Everything there was fine, but when I checked my site, not only had the pictures showed up, but the text had not gone away-



Can somebody please tell me what I need to do, the steps to fix it? Thanks a million!

actually i figured it out- homepage- navigation links and theres an option you can turn on or off. please close this thread, thx.

This is what I can't see anymore in my admin. panel, I know I posted for help on the issue in a different area in here, but just want to show an example of what I can no longer view. How do I get it back? The menu of pictures???

to change the image settings on your nav bar you should go to admin panel-> display -> headers and navigation
