laggy faulty chat box

hi guys, need your experitse

we have a chat box in our forum, worked fine just once, what happens is one members post appears above anothers when it was made later thna the original

AND

when you type it can take up to 5 attempts for it to ebter the box, which is soooo frustrating

am i missing why this is happening this is the only reason we got the fourm
