I want more domain names?

I have already purchased a domain name (www URL) for my site but now changed the entire site and want to buy a new domain name to point to my forum, how can I do this? Is it possible?

And you purchased the .com, but you want to change it? Did you buy from forumotion?

Yes I bought from forum motion, I am turning the site into a multi console forum and so need a completley new and different domain name from sandbox shootout

I believe you need to purchase a whole new one, domains are not "changeable".

The option to purchase a whole new one is not there since I purchased one already!

Any help please? I would like to move things along....

I believe you can only buy from your forumotion forum. So, if your new forum is a forumotion, you'd need to go on the new forum and buy the domain name. If it's not, then use godaddy or something to buy the new.

My forum is not new, it is 3 months old, and yes it is forumotion forum. But, I purchased a domain name, so the site would say www. newnamehere .com

But now I change the forums into something new, and now need a NEW domain name to reflect the new site. But, I now do not have the option to purchase another domain name!

you don't have the option because you can't change it,

now, the options are:
you can make completely new forum and buy a domain
or
you can wait just 1 ( or 2 ) year and then there would be an option

What if I purchase domain name from somewhere else and transfer it to forumotion?

Hey I was wondering the same thing. Do we have to pay first?

hello,

to do that you have to delate the 1st domain name! know that if you did this operation, only the domain name can be cancelled, your forum will stay on line and accessible in it's original url. but you can't ask us to get back your 1600 credits!
when the old domain is cancelled, you have to bay 1600 credits for the new domain name. and you can purchase it normally from your forum admin panel! when activated by forumotion, the new domain will automatically work with your forum as the 1st one!

to do this cancellation, please send me by PM the domain name you want to cancel + the original url of the forum + the foundation email adresse
