Time on the Forums Empty Time on the Forums

I have set my forums for GMT + 10 hours for Eastern Australia, but all times are showing a 1 hour difference - i.e. earlier than it is. I assume this is because it is now BST in England and the system is not adjusted for this. If I try to reduce the time zone to +9, it is still out by one hour as the base line GMT defaults back an hour. How can I get posts to reflect the real time? Some of my members like to see the time they posted.
