Spammers

Okay. I'm not sure where to post this so I'm posting it here and I apologise in advance if I messed up. A forum I co-run with someone has been attacked by spammers around four or five times, and they've been posting obscene images and inappropriate language and the like. We've been reported for abuse many times and I was wondering if there is a way to mass delete all the spammers posts (they've posted over 100 times each and it SUCKS to go looking for each post) at once? Because we're regaining our footing slowly and the abuse count is rising. We don't want to be shut down for something that isn't our fault to begin with.

Well, I suggest deleting all of their accounts and getting their IPs so you can block the IPs from the forum. If they get a proxy, e-mail ban them and if they do it again have a fit.

I see you have a quite big problem here. I think I can help.

First, you must IP Ban the users that are spamming up the forum.

To delete all the posts at ONCE that they wrote please do the following:

1. Go to your Administration Panel
2. Click on Users and Groups
3. Users
4. Click there name, and delete the person. Then all the posts will be erased once they are deleted.

Thank you. We have banned the IP's but I think they have IP morphers or something. I will try to do the delete post thing next time it occurs.
