Why did you create a forum?

I am not asking why you chose Forumotion to create a forum, but the reason why you decided to create an online community.

I created my forum because I was looking for something for my blog. I decided a forum would be a good asset to have, so I created one. A while after creating it, it failed, as did the blog. So I deleted the forum and the blog and thought I would focus on just one thing. So I did. I created my new forum, MediaMania. I don't know why I went with a Media forum, but I did and I love it.

I built Super Maker Forums (Link Removed) a game design and creation forum because all the ones out there are too cooperate and focus on selling things and being like they want you to be instead of focusing on the games and game makers and letting people be more individuals. Also the major forums kept crashing and having major downtime issues plus they mostly focused on one version of some software and game development takes a lot of different software. Now it is all in one place, in an independent community with no agenda besides making good games. Plus forumotion has a great support staff, helpful members, and great hacker protection and I am really loving the features more and more everyday. Thanks Forumotion!

Although my forum is incomplete, it will be one based on providing users with tutorials and help in making their own forum. Such tutorials include learning programming languages and forum alterations will be included. Other than that, the forum will also be applicable to those interested in intellectual discussion, forum games and possible contests (including, but not limited to, graphics). I am sure this forum has a bright future ahead of it, and will help many users with their forum.

I am making an online server which i did script, and to make a better community i did make myself a forum for this. And now we are having discussions and fun with each other because i created a forum. I wont regret

My forum started out as a Clan forum for an online game, but after some time it became something more. We ended up knowing each other for more than 5 years and became a good group of friends, so yeah I am happy that I created that forum

My forum started because I used to post on a message board for the show LOST. On that board I met a lot of people and a few of us decided to make our own LOST board, that was over 3 years ago, since the show ended we are now a General Chat Forum and welcoming any new members to register on each others. boards in hopes of generating more traffic to ours boards. My old forum has been hacked! The hacker has access to all the user personal info and is treating all the users. He unadmin all the admins and has total control over the site. changed all the pictures to pornographic pictures and a lot of links to dirty sites! please all the users are begging yo guys to take down the site! help as fast as possible! I just joined here and pick a random page to post on as fast as possible. so if i posted under the wrong thing please excuse me! But please anybody im begging for your help! he already hacked a few users!

I created one so that all of my friends may be together and talk and have fun. Then my friend, who had been in the forum, introduced me to Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm sure you can guess where it went from there. Ever since, I've been having a great time.

I have created my forum for almost the same reason. While playing game of Yu-Gi-Oh, (And yes,there are plenty of people who still play this game. Don't judge us.) I have joined a site where new members would come in everyday, and the only problem was that, they didn't know the rules to the game. And every time a new player would make a mistake, they would just flame on him/her saying "Learn the rules, noob", "You are disgrace to Yugioh" and etc. I have fought with almost everyone who said that, just to try to defend the new players. But it didn't do much, the people still ket abusing new players. So, then me and couple of my friends decided to make a forum where new players might learn the rules to the game, and at the same time have fun and make new friends. So we did make a forum like that, we called it United Duel Academy. Surprisingly, as slow as it is, it still stands.
