Why did you create a forum?

I am not asking why you chose Forumotion to create a forum, but the reason why you decided to create an online community.

I created my forum because I was looking for something for my blog. I decided a forum would be a good asset to have, so I created one. A while after creating it, it failed, as did the blog. So I deleted the forum and the blog and thought I would focus on just one thing. So I did. I created my new forum, MediaMania. I don't know why I went with a Media forum, but I did and I love it.

Simple. the game I was playing did not have a forum for it

That was also why i originally created one, but then i started using it as my home page. only thing is i was away for a while and forgot my password x.x

My forum is called A leopards paradise, i started this forum because as my likes go i have a thing for leopards, i have noticed that it's population is shrinking because of poachers that would kill a leopard for a profit. I am on a mission to help save this beautiful cat and be joining it people will show that they too want to help save the leopard. So far since this forum is new i have not gotten any members yet but hope to see the forum grow in the future.

I wanted to create a place to talk about hard/disturbing subjects, i wasnt pleased with the existing forums in my language with the same subjects, so i wanted to try myself. "my way is better"... dont no that, probably not

Its fun anyway and im slowly learning css and html, its really funny to work with these stuff. My forum in point of activity and stuff is failing, im having a hard time managing it all...

Have wanted to make a forum for a while, just didn't know what topic to choose, but, now, I have my mind settled and I hope it will be a job well done.

PS, I would like the team and all developers to know that I think this site is spectacular, its easy to use and there is so, so much help available.

I have two forums, reasons behind the two...

Carp'On

I'm quite a keen fisherman, carp fishing in particuler, as are many of my friends and we were all talking about how good it would be to have somewhere we can showcase our pictures and discuss our catch reports other than facebook, so i spent a few days building the site, now my friends and anyone else that enjoys fishing can just kick back and talk about all aspects of fishing

We also host social meets! Where anglers alike can keep in touch and fish together without having to exchange contact details or address details etc.

This was a board specifically for advertsing of forums and forum reviews, i like helping others in any way i can, offering support and i consider myself to be quite creative and original, so reviews seemed like a good way to voice this

The main reason I creat forums is just for the fun of it... They usually don't last very long though. I'll make them, finish them, delete them then start all over. And I love it. ^^ There is never a dull moment for me in creating a forum. I suppose it would be nice to have one and keep it around for a bit. But I don't really have the paitence to advertise and to wait to attract members. And the fun for me is simply in creating the forum, or to help others create a forum.
