Index Page forums deleted

I was tweaking some appearance things for my forum. I edited the top banner to a custom one. When I went to the preview, the forum box was gone. The forums and posts are still there, as I can access them from other areas. All the other tabs work fine except Index. Also, when does the system create a backup. I went to the thing to back it up and there were none there. I created the forum last night around 5 or 6. Here is a picture of my index page:

Enter the Email Address and Password used in creation with your forum.
