PROBLEM REGARDING GUEST

I WANT HELP THAT I WANT THAT GUEST---- REGISTER AT MY FORUM ---THEY CAN VIEW ONLY THE FORUM NOT THE POST WHAT WILL I DO TO DO THAT ???

GENERAL.......Categories and forums--- I HAVE SELECTED GUEST HE CAN VIEW & READ I WANT HIM TO ONLY VIEW NOT READ THE POST HE CAN READ ONLY WHEN HE BECOME REGISTERED???

Please do not write in caps.

You have to edit your forum permissions, try the advance mode, and in the guest section, just uncheck read forum.

I know the answer. If this guy - and others - would read the FAQ's he wouldn't have to ask 10 questions a day. Most of this stuff has been covered in questions all the time. Try reading the forum instead of just jumping on to ask a question that has been answered a dozen times.

I HAVE READ AROUND 20 TAGS REGARDING THIS BUT I DIDN'T FIND MY ANSWER

I have a couple of forums/topics even guests can see, but the rest they can read the forum and even new topic titles, but when they click on the topic title they have to login in order to read what that topic is about.

maybe it is a tech issue??? And your still writing in caps, I suppose you have an eyesight problem and can read only large letters....

i want to know it can be done or not ????

Admin Panel ==> General ==> Forum ==> Catagories and Forums

then click on the modify icon beside whichever forum you want to change

then go to permissions

then click on advanced mode

then check "reply a message" by guest.
