Image Size Problems
Hey, I've tried many things, but still have been unsuccessful.
On my forum, many pictures get cut off.
on this URL
http://randomness.omgforum.net/graphic-designing-f26/posting-banners-t217-60.htm
scroll down to the 4th-to-last post. Notice the image is cut off.
this is what the picture should look like https://2img.net/h/i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm249/Tower_Defense/randomness.gif
How can I fix this? Please help.
Sincerely,
Katanga

Re: Image Size Problems
The picture is too big to fit on the forum page. When they post it on a picture hosting site make it smaller. Other wise it will be cut off like that. You can check out some of the Banner requests in the Graphics forum to see what I mean.
By the way I see it how is should be.

Re: Image Size Problems
thanks, but the thing is on different forums they can allow different max img sizes. Like if I post that img here, then it'll fit. That's why I'm trying to figure out where the option is.

Re: Image Size Problems
Well, your forum "container" is set to 800 pixels in width. In those 800 pixels, there is your profile field and the rest is for the actual post and it's content. You can imagine how big an image can be, before it get's cut on your forum.
The solution is to either use thumbnails for your posted images, right-click on the image and select "view image" or you can increase the width of your forum in general. I suggest a %-value - for example > 80%. For this, just go to "General / Forum / Configuration" in your admin panel and enter 90% in the forum width field.
In easy words, your forum would always cover 90% of your browser window - regardless of your screen resolution.
