Know a program to open a javascript file?

I made a dropdown menu and need to open the js file. Anyone know a program?

Not a very clear question. If your menu requires javascript, it should create the code for you and a link to where the javascript .js source is located. It would all go together in your html header.

I should add that using javascript for a drop down menu is not very smart when it can be done using pure CSS more easily, have faster response, and not require the use of outside scripts to execute.

ya that is what I thought I have the css of it but says I have to copy the dropdown.js file and the GIF images (contained in this ZIP file)
to your web server into the same directory as the web page HTML files.

Ya but if I can have a look at that code I may be able to make this work on forumotion, I have been able to make many scripts to this. Before Forumotion added the side bar I had one already on my site.

Just open js file with notepad and change the link

I can't get notepad to open it, that was the first thing I tried
