webmail not working? anyone else? Update 8/8/08

I purchased a domain and used the email setup on forumotion. I can send email from all of my email accounts but cannot recieve to the inbox. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue. 5 days now and no mail will come in unless it sent from just the accounts I created for admins

yup, same deal then. Anyone know of any other place we can access these accounts?
I tried http://mail2web.com/ but no go with that

I have sent 2 support tickes through the mail system, no replies. Does anyone know who even owns this webmail service? their homepage url maybe? is it part of forumotion?
ok, looks like horde is the web software being used http://www.horde.org/webmail/ so then I assume forumotion is hosting it?

Once you have created your email accounts, you can access through this link:

webmail.yourdomainname.com

however I understand that. The issue is that I cannot receive incoming mail. Outgoing seems fine.

When I try to send mail to my addresses here is the error message I get "The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect."

again, I can send email from my webmail account, but I cannot receive incoming mail.

That is between you and your webmail provider - not you and Forumotion. Apparently they are not redirecting your mail to Forumotion. You should be able to do that through your webmail preferences or control panel.

Saurus, this is set up through forumotion when you purchase a domain name with them and there are no preferences or control panel with it. So yes it must be something forumotion has to adjust.

If anyone else has purchased a domain and is successfully using the webmail provided please let us know.

If you do that, you're saying there are no options there to control where your mail is directed?

Well - that is strange. I would expect there to be some place to redirect your mail to your purchased domain, which is horde.org, right? Is there no POP or SMTP server address there you can change?

LOL, I purchased the domain through forumotion using credits in the misc tab of the panel. Seems horde is the email software. I dont know
