PERSONALIZED DOMAIN

I'm trying to direct the board to my domain, but I'm not sure how to follow the instructions given. What is the DNS administrator and how do I find it? What is the CName? PLEASEEE HELP! =/

Ok, I found the DNS admin...and I even set it up... atleast I think I did? I entered the myforum.forumotion.com url and directed it to myforum.mydomain.com...but it's still not working? I get this message

You have to find a CNAME or ALIAS option in the admin panel of your custom domain and enter here the forum address (for example: myforum.forumotion.com).

A tutorial can be found here, but the interface would be of course a little different.

mine is set up like this:

CNAME Record *.eruptionmini.com eruption-mini.heavenforum.org

CNAME Record mail.eruptionmini.com eruption-mini.heavenforum.org

i have a different forwarding option as well that is classed as standard or masked, make sure this is not activated

my domain is on yahoo small business and was tricky to finally work out, i too had the name is not to well configured as well.

i must alert you thou when mine finally went thru ok my templates was the only stable part of the whole forum, all scripts and pic links etc had my domain within the scripting and took me 11 hours to get under control again, i still have to go thru every post to edit this out as well,

on a positive side all my pages display my new domain name
