How to embed Script in the posts

I need suggestions in overcoming a problem. Whenever I try to embed script code of my files uploaded on www.scribd.com or slideshare.net on my forum, the documents appear in the preview mode, but when I post the message, what I see is either the strange code or just a message that "upload your file to blah, blah.....

I guess I am missing somewhere but forgive me for my naivety. I am really confused whether I am following the true method of embedding the scripts or is there problem with the forum itself. Anyone who can help on this.

I have done that too, but what it shows after posting the message is the code itself
