Private Messages Empty Private Messages

I am unable to retrieve my Private Messages. It is giving a general error saying "could not update private message new/read status (2) for user".

How do I fix this?

if you were smart enough to look for the other problem section ebcause if a staff member was here he/she would tell you to post their too and lock this thread
