Re: Portal queries
Oh man, I have today my really social day, okay, let's handle it^^
First of all, there are a lot of tuts concerning your questions found in the FAQ of forumotion. I guess I read 60 or 70% of them before I ever posted a single topic here.
Go to Forumotion FAQ
Then it's always wise to search for a topic before you post one. I see that you're new here, but the rules here are the same as on your forum. If you would have searched, you would have found topics about this.
I also want to recommend you to use decent titles for your topics. If you have a question, shorten it and use it for the title. Every request about portal is about "portal queries". A lot of members here don't even look at topics who have titles like yours.
To your question, you can add your portal by this way:
Admin Panel --> Modules --> Portal&Widgets (on the left menu) --> Portal management
The rest should explain itself. With the new admin panel it became pretty easy to handle your portal.
The thing on the right of this site is a bar with widgets. You have that in your forum, too. You can find it here:
Admin Panel --> Modules --> Portal&Widgets (still in the left menu) --> Forum widgets management
Much Fun with that. When you're done with your forums, go and propose it here, but read the Tutorial for it before.
