Solved I can't sign up for my brother's forum!

I showed my younger brother how to make a forum. He made it sucessfully, but it doesn't allow any new members.

He ticked 'Allow New Members' but it still doesn't allow them.

Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Probably the option "Forum on holiday" is still activated, it should be set to NO (Admin Panel >> General >> Configuration).
