Does anyone else have a comment if you have Comcast?

It starts on October 1st, 2008.
250 GIG. Every youtube steam video takes about half a GIG.
If you play video game, it takes 1 GIG every 10 minute.
Even loading this page right now takes like 1/20 GIG.
Wow...
250 GIG is the limit.
If you go over it, they charge you:
$10 for the first GIG you went over.
$1.00 for the rest of the GIG you went over.
Plus they charge you like $40 monthly.
Is like paying your cellphone minute plan.
Worst part is, they will NOT tell you when you have went over your GIG!!
So, don't be surprise when you get like $500 on your bill for just the internet.

So yah, and worst part is, they were trying to keep this secretly till you find out
why your bills were so high. They weren't planning on giving any warnings to the customer
that use this internet provider.
If you want to help the people out, I recommend that you call customer support
and ask if this is true and what will happen.

not true, depending on the length and quality, normal resolution videos usually go up to 10mb.

no, it would be at most 100kb for normal pages. Don't forget there is such a thing as caching, so it won't be that much.

Comcast has lost their minds completely. I used to use comcast for my cable, net & phone serve back home. I hated being trapped into their service because of the restricted other options available. I can just imaging how many unhappy customers this is going to make. I'm so glad I don't use comcast anymore, they were never anything but a headache, maybe this will be the incentive people need to move to a different service provider and tell comcast to shove it where the sun don't shine.

verizon fios is the way to go! but ya comcast has lost their minds
