Transparent chatbox?

Since I had tried another chatbox and gladly returned to the Forummotion one again, it now appears 'transparent' (see comments but too much background)? The type can be seen with comments, just no grey chatbox default background.

Ideally I'd like a colourful Forummotion chatbox that works!

Do I need to input the right code? And what is it, I've searched here, but need to get some sleep now!
