MANY posts deleted without reason

Yesterday i went to bed and forum was all ok... This morning i woke and i couldn't get on forum, there was some kind of error that wouldn't show things on portal and forums. IU thought it was maybe some mainetance or something, so i didn't bother. Then i came home from school and checked, forums/portal showed up but in most of threads on forum there are some random comments just deleted(it's basicly an empty post without anything written in it).

Now, is there a way to get back lost info? What happend actually? What can i do?

Wow that this really suck to have a forum with no post. Want to talk about some upset people..they blame me. How can this be. Are we doing anything about it.
Are they at least working on it. Seems it is one thing after the other and I am just about ready to ask for a refund on all my credits and go elsewhere. So are the post gone for good? Shall I start some where else?

nah, forumotion in overall is great forums, but this is an error that happened (at least for me, using it for 1year+) for the 1st time. i would surely reccomend you to stay here

Last night I had twenty-eight pages with a friend on a topic we were doing. When I came here this morning there were only sixteen pages and everything, our hard work, was gone!! On top of that, I made a new topic yesterday and that was erased also!

Okay, I got my posts restored but now there is no text in them!!! THIS IS MAKING ME SO MAD!!!

Even when I go to edit, it doesn't show what I ever typed!

im fed up with this maintenence with no mail to admin informing us, things going wrong, i just want my database so i can host on my own server, if you want paying for it then fine i will pay, i can then have my chat room gallery guestbook all synchronised together that way!!!

ppl need to read all posts before continueing to post on this issue and blame that no one has said anything. When there was a post saying they are wokring on the issue....PATIENCE ppl...stuff happens everything cant be perfect.

Yes, I too have this problem. All the posts that were written yesterday got deleted (Its a post that is blank) I hope it gets fixed soon.

I woke up today with the same problem. I just created my message board a few days ago and yesterday spent several hours creating a Category called New Members - Please Read! with 2 forums, New Member Instructions, and Introduce Yourself. In these 2 forums, I created 4 threads, 3 in the first and 1 in the second. The threads are still there, but the text in each is gone! This represents several hours of work. The forum permissions block guests from even seeing the forums, and members can only post or create a thread in the second forum. The other administrators have not been on since before the threads were created.

Interestingly, the Basket Category, which has only administrator privileges turned on and cannot be viewed by guests or regular members has all threads untouched with one exception! The threads here were started several days ago. The only thing that is different is a post made yesterday. That post in the thread is there, but the contents of the post are gone. The posts above it are untouched, all having occurred prior to yesterday. Wondering if this is a clue to the support staff?

Anyone have a clue what happened and if the contents of the threads can be restored?

Hello to Staff,

Today I have been having problems logging on to my forum and the Forumotion Help forum, soooo slooooow.
The reason for posting. As the above posts say, I also have posts that the messages have been deleted from. 5 in total. 2 of them mine.
They were there last night but have disappeared this morning. The persons avatar profile and the date and time and signature still show but no message in between. I have checked the edit option and there are no messages showing in them.
I have done a re install of the database but still not corrected.

I understand that problems do arise, having been an adminstrator for more than a year of a forum Support Forum but, can someone on the Staff please tell us what is happening and can it be put right?

I also have the same problem in my forum today. All the post that were posted last night are gone.. Some topics are also empty.

I am far from a wizzard in the forum-world so im feeling a little panick attack coming..

Do the post`s come back by them selves or do i have to do anything ?
