Access ???

Hi,
Okay I have looked and looked and I must be missing it.. How do I give certain members access to a room? and how do I hide the room? when I set up this certain room I have it as just admin can see it but I would like to have certain users to see this room (that I pick) how do I do that???

I know it is somewhere and I looked at your FAQ area but that one shows a different looking admin panel then what is shown on here???

I think that she means some kind of locked area, invisible & inaccessable to other users, except to administrators and to users she specifically picks. Am i right ?

You can have a forum, which can be accessible to only a certain group of individuals. Other users cant see that forum.

First, make a group of (Secret user) similar to how you make moderators.

Go to administration panel
General>Categories and Forums>
Click on the + sign & make a forum.
Once the forum is made, u can click on forum permissions control. Select the secret forum you made. U can then edit what you want to do with the forum who can view, who can post etc etc.

I tried the groups thing and that isnt what I am looking for

like I made up a room that only admin can see right now but I would like to give access to that one room to a couple of other people and I dont want them to be mods or any special rank, see my "old" fourm I could go into the admin panel and if I had a room on private/hidden I could allow or disallow specific memebers, I just know there is someway somehow to do this here since this fourm is so much better then the other one I was using I am just having a hell of a time finding it
