Help! Regarding Forum Management

I don't know how to insert a category on a forum... If I add one category under a forum called FORUM A, the category is visible in the index page as a independent and separate category under FORUM A.

I want that category hidden under FORUM A, and it would only be viewed if I access FORUM A.

How would I fix that? can someone help me? Please? Asap,. Thanks.

You click on "Display / homepage / structure and hierarchy / index packing / Split categories on index / medium / Save."

Then click on "FORUM A" on "Add a link" and make the category.

Now all you need to in the Hierarchy a hook from "sub-level on the left index / No" do.
