AGe verification

I want my forum to be able to have anyone of any age join but some of my members get heated so i was thinking of making a forum for them to get it out of them but i dont want younger members to view, is this possible?

ok, you can do this, BUT it restricts the age of the users.
How to do it:
Admin panel>>Users & groups>>profile(tick this box) "Obligatory for the registration">> then user options, scroll down to birthday management >>> set minimal user age to the age you want >>> click save.
Now ur done.

Just to be a Negative Nancy, can't the users just change their age to see what's going on? Or even when they register, put a fake birthday? I mean I've seen people with ages of like 100 years old, and please, I think it's highly unlikely that 100 year olds would hang around forums in their spare time.

Yes that is true, but how would a 5yr old know how to do that?
