Solved Server saying that a certain username already exists, but really not

I tried adding a exclamation point there by request, but the server says that the username already exists in the forum.

I checked all of the users but none of them has that same username with an exclamation point there.

Is it a glitch, or...

In the page you were on instead of searching users select 'inactive users' and see if it is in use there.
