How do I NOT HAVE the pre-checked sign in box come up?

I received this email from one of my members, and would like to offer that to them:

May I make a suggestion?
The Sign in Page has a pre-checked sign me in automatically box. Can we have it automatically unchecked? I have had to change my password because I forgot to uncheck that,,,

And are you the one that had us agree to the laws of France? Or better put; how do I edit that?
And then, WHAT IS THIS??

so, you want to NOT have the "sign in automatically" ticked?
Go to Users and Groups> look at User options>"
Default automatic log in status."

I think that is the option you are looking for
check NO

NO, there is nothing in profile.
but they can always choose to have their browser remember their names and passwords

According to THIS NO you cannot.
but you can ADD rules...follow that link for instructions.
