Am I Allowed To Help Solve Other Peoples Problems?

I don't know why, but since yesterday and from posting my OWN problem.. I have actually helped solve many other members problems too.

I don't know why I try to help people, maybe it's my generous and helpful nature, and I don't like to leave people with a problem which I know I can help solve for them, maybe it's a "Self-Pride" thing, I don't really know yet. However, I need to know if this is allowed or not as I am NOT a member of staff and do not want to be breaking any kind of rules.

[Note] - Sorry if this Topic is in the wrong area, if it is, could a kind Mod please move this to where it should be and alert me as to where it's being moved to?

as long as you arent acting as a staff, any help members give to others is very welcome, and appreciated. I am sure all the staff would agree, that the main thing is, members get support as quickly as possible, be it staff or another member

My problem is still not solved, however, being here for a couple of days I can see why there would be hold-ups.
