[solved] Adjusting group permissions on existing group

Hi, I have recently taken over administration of a pre-existing group, and I have a problem that I just cannot figure out.

Under Group Administration -> Groups Permissions Control: The Moderators group is allowed to post Special Messages in some forums, but some are Admin only. I want to allow Mods to post special messages in all forums.

I am aware that I can get around this using Forum permissions, which is exactly what I have done. However this seems pretty clumsy to me. Is there a way to change the Simple permissions as displayed in Group Administration -> Groups Permissions Control -> Moderators so that Mods are allowed to post special messages in all forums? Or is this something that was set at forum creation and cannot be changed?

I dont believe there is, from having a look myself at my own forum. I do agree it does seem very clumsy to have to set through the forum permissions.
