how to recover a deleted post?

I am staff, lol just kidding... Well, unfortunate you can't recover erased posts, but I you has assign a basket to the forum maybe the thread went there.

the another bad news is i didn't assign a basket, but by default one section is assigned and i have changed there there is nothing... Sad

This is only possible from Forum tools I believe.

You may want to contact 'Typlo' or 'Eximma' about this, or 'Placehold' may even know.

If you have deleted a post which you really wanted, one way is to go to utilities.
https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/

Go there & see for
Restore the forum such as it was previously

Then Backup type: Messages & Users
Restore the forum such as it was : The date when u could have deleted the post.

After you do a backup, u have to redo or delete other messages which you didn't want as well. They too would have been restored. As well as new members registered, banned.

You could aslo create a new basket (trash can) to place all of your locked topics. If you fill you come across a topic and believe it should be deleted, I recommend you should just lock it and send it to the "Trash Can" (if you created it). Also, if you do make it, set it where only staff can moderate it..
