How do you put a link to another web site on the main home page?

Hi

I want to put a friends logo on the home page next to the main logo, so if someone clicks on it it goes to their web site, how do you do this please?

the home page as in on your forum correct?

you can do this in two ways:
either :
go to admin panel-> general -> homepage -> configuration and add a link or affiliate button to your friend site.. this info will be displayed under the navigation bar.

or
you can create a new navigation link.
go to admin panel-> display -> headers and navigation
create a new link... add the url of your frined site and an image in needed

Yes, tried the first way, but in admin panel > general, there is no homepage section?

At the top of my homepage i've got the homepage image, but I want to put other images with links either side of it.

unfortunatly that is not possible the header region is not editable apart from changing the image.

oh and method 1 is under
admin panel-> dispaly-> hompage -> generalities

You could just create a non-tabled widget holding the link to the requested site. You are able to place it anywhere (which is a great idea).

How do you do that please?
