Want icons for each group member is in, to show in legend

First topic message reminder :

I have created a list of groups that members can join if it applies to them, but i want the icons i uploaded for each group to show in the legend near their posting name, according to which they belong to.

For instance, this is a writer's site and each writer might do different kinds of writing; so if a writer is a novelist, short story writer and poet, i want the icons for each of those groups to appear below their names in the posts (legend) so other members can tell at a glance what each writer's expertise is. Is there a way to do that?

This will alllow you to select an image from a list.

I tried that but it only allowed one choice. Again, i need to be able to make up to 14 in any combination. thanks anyway. I guess this just can't be done on these forums.

So you want 14 images together in one field, right?
You also want them in a single line or not? Can you give me links to the images. Just write one single post, with what you exactly want.
Just give me some time, i will try if this can be done.

Hey Sanket- Not necessarily on one field--if you refer to the this image


it might help--this is the closest to what I'm after--though i wish it was a bit more compact....and I'd like to get rid of the asterisk and semicolons if possible--the instructions say i can't leave that field blank, so i used the asterisk; and the semicolons are placed there automatically, i guess by existing code.

I want the images (feathers/pens) to *FIT* properly so that they don't extend one per line down the column so far...just neatly arranged--BUT--this is the glitch (As you see, i managed to get close)--the glitch is that i can't get the separate descriptive pop-up texts for EACH one. It seems to be one or nothing.

And if i don't have the pop-up texts (because it's redundant to have the image AND the text) then it makes using the images moot. I could just use the text--which i also COULD do, but it's not what i want.

The thing that makes this tricky all the way around is that I need members to choose between 1 and 14 GENRES of writing, according to what they write; and some may only write one type of thing, others might write 6 kinds, or like me, they might write ALL OF THEM.

So i want each feather to represent each of those genres. The Editor, Writer, Poet designations are a sort of rank, I suppose--it's what general category they are in....

I know this is a lot of information, but i want what i want. LOL. I just think all of it is possible. Just have to find someone (maybe you?) who can fill in the blanks for me. If i knew where the particular codes were in the template, i'd figure out how to rewrite THAT. (I've done it before).
