Hello,
I don't think you understand how Forumotion earns it's revenue. Forumotion makes it's income through advertising. The ads aren't placed on your forum because Forumotion is mean. It's actually to benefit the forum. People click on the ads - Forumotion makes money - Technicians get paid - better forum updates.
Really simple.

Thank you, I understood, but users should known that before, or mabe give users some options of ads, that can fit with our forums ant it's themes. This forum is seriously kind of caracter, and that kind of ads dont fit with it. I' m surprised with this 'cause I have forum for more than 2 years and now that provocated banner pop up, I hate it: congratulations you're 999,999 visitor !!!

Re: Unwanted advertising
I think Forumotion are going to end up not getting a lot of users if they allow this type of advertising - huge ads on dubious topics. I am awaiting an answer on another post about this and will then decide if I wish to proceed with Forumotion - it is a shame as the look of Forumotion etc is nice.

Re: Unwanted advertising
You can get rid of the flashing ads - like the one mentioned in the initial post
admin > general > forum - configuration > 'You allow images and videos formats for your ads' click no and save
admin > general > forum - configuration > 'You allow images and videos formats for your ads' click no and save

And the worst part is that it takes more time to open that ad than the entire forum!!!Hr-Zaštitari wrote:Thank you, I understood, but users should known that before, or mabe give users some options of ads, that can fit with our forums ant it's themes.
