I want to add a footer image into the overall footer, but even though the forum is phpbb2, it doesn't even have the option- How should I add the footer?

Yes it does I have images in the footer of both my sites. How about a screenshot of your templates menu. The general menu to be exact.

No template editing is there at all.

Edited: There is no general menu for template editing or overall footer/header or any of those.
