Dangerous
I want my members to be able to post video other than youtube but to do so I have to enable HTML for everyone.
My question is this; how dangerous is it to have HTML enabled?
And, more importantly, why can't I enable HTML just for me ... ?
It is surely not beyond the wit of mankind to devise a way of accomplishing such a feat?
All the other forums I am a member of can choose who can use it. Why can't it be done with forumotion sites?

Re: Dangerous
Hello,
Enabling HTML isn't entirely dangerous. The worst someone could really do is post something huge that takes forever to load.
I'm not sure why we can't select who can use HTML or not, but if you want, you can make a suggestion in the Suggestions for your forums forum.

Re: Dangerous
HTML is not dangerous at all, lol. You have to enable HTML in both your admin Panel, and your profile :
Enabling HTML In Admin Panel :
Admin Panel >
General tab >
Forum -- Messages and Emails >
Scroll down a wee bit to Allow HTML :, and then select Yes (to the right of Allow HTML :).
Save the new settings.
Enabling HTML In Profile :
'My Profile' (Found on your 'Log In' widget in your forum's Index page, or could be found by clicking Profile on the Navigational bar) >
Preferences >
Scroll down a bit to Always Allow HTML :, and select Yes (found to the right of Always Allow HTML :) >
Save the new settings.
Hope I helped,
Rok

Re: Dangerous
... yes it did help.
I had already figured out how to enable and use it.
It was the security issue that bothered me but since there isn't one it doesn't matter.
Thanks guys
