Who's on online and automatic logout following refresh question

Hi Guys

I'm new to these forums and I have a couple of questions and have yet to find an answer when searching, so please accept my apologies if already been answered else where.

I have recently set up a forum and notice the following, if anybody would be so kind to point me in the right direction, the help would be very appreciated.

1) I notice that when I am logged in as Admin, I can not see the "who's online" / "statistics" information at the bottom of the page, yet when I am logged in as a normal user / member from the same machine at the same time I can see this ok in the other window.

2) Again, when logged in as Admin, if I hit refresh on my browser I stay logged in, however if I do this from a user account, again at the same time, same pc etc, the user login gets logged out and I have to login again - any idea's why ?

Like I say, I'm a newbie to this, so any help would be greatly received. Many Thanks.

Ok, just to add for point 1 above, when I hit the top 20 posters of the day, the who's online magically appears.

For point 2, I should have also added, that the checkbox to stay logged in on each visit for the user account is checked.

So as admin you don't get logged out but as a regular user you do get logged out when you refresh your page?

If so this is a glitch in the system and a mod will move this to the technician forum.
