Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask about this problem. Today I notice that members who are using phones can't log in to chat. They log in but chat kicks them out repeatedly. This problem contains different phone brands and browsers.

Hello yes this is right but the system is not made for members using the mobile phone system.

so yes they will be kicked out when using it as it's not mobile friendly.

Right now there is no plan in to making this work well on the mobile phone's Sorry

Welp, I have the same problem. I tried all internet browsers but I got kicked all the time from all the forum I'm logged in. When I refresh chatbox, I can login for like 2 minutes max and then I'm kicked again.
It also happens to my firends using mobile phones but some of them doesnt have this problem D:
Earlier there were a problem with no auto refreshing chatbox on phones and tablets.

Bump? This is seriously problem for us. It's bad and mot modern if website is not mobile friendly. It may drive some members away from the forum, so please is there anything you can do? This wasn't problem before.

The problem is the chat box was not really made for mobile users it was set up with computer users only.

I can make a report about this but i think your get the Answer i have already gave.

Yes, I understand but I am just curious why this wasn't a problem until now. Just wondering, is there new update or something? Because I don't think chat just "break down" itself. It has been working perfectly for many years with both computer and mobile.

Hello Ams I am not 100% sure if our last update on our database has made a problem or if some data went wrong on our end.

I have made a Report about this and as you may or may not know our head office is closed at weekends so it will not get looked at until Monday at least.

If it is a bug our End then we will get on to it when we can as we have other bugs that may need fixing faster then others.

I'm undergoing the same issue, but the chatbox is located at the top of the Forum [the one provided directly by the forum iteself].

No, chatbox is separate window. It's not on toolbar or forum home page. We only have link to open the chat in new window.

Hello Yes there is a problem with the chatbox settings right now and we Do know about this and we are working on a fix.

We do not have a time line for this as much more bigger problems come first.

We are sorry for the delay on this fix but we have to make sure the system is right before adding the fix live.

Description of problem

Hi! I would need help, because what we have is a serious issue. It doesn't only affect our forum, but mostly all, an it's really annoying.
The problem first started about 2 weeks ago, when one day the chat started doing strange things. It wouldn't refresh on it's on, we would have to refresh the whole page. Than it started kicking us down basically. It showed as we logged out, but nobody did that. This went on for like 3 or 4 days, than it suddenly stopped. We couldn't do anything about it back than, and because it's back, we are once again hopeless.
So I would appreciate some help, because it's not just a problem with our forum. We even turned off the chat, used it on every single browser, but nothing worked.
I hope someone can do anything, because this is really annoying and we can't really chat right now.

ok now for your problem, About 2 or 3 weeks a go we had some software updates to some of our servers and other parts on our systems and we found some small problems with some of our systems after this was installed.

It has been brought to my attention tonight that the Chatbox on our forum does not automatically refresh or show messages that others send, requiring you to manually refresh the page or submit a message for others messages to show up.

I tried deactivating and reactivating the chatbox to no avail.

Is this a global issue, or is it us? Nothing has been changed as far as I know.

as far as i know yes there are some bugs with the chatbox like doesnt refresh automatically or members disconnect randomly
