How do i change the link text in the header navigation?

I call my portal page "Welcome" and it is changed on the nav bar widget but I cant seem to change it on the header navigation. Is it possible?

Bump. Its been a long time and I still dont know how to do this. All I want to do is change it from saying "Portal" to saying "Welcome"

You could always create a new portal page (Admin Panel -> Modules -> Portal Management) and name it something else other than 'Portal'. Then hit 'Define as default page' to make it like the title page for the forum when you enter it.

I already did that. My portal page is titled "Welcome". I changed the link in the navigation widget to say "Welcome" but the navigation bar near the header still says "Portal" and I cant find a way to change it.

No. The portal's name is successfully changed. If you go to my forum, you will see on the navigation widget, it says:
"Welcome
Index
Memberlist
etc..."

Then underneath the header area, the navigation bar says:
"Portal Home Calendar etc..."

Is there any way to make it say "Welcome" instead of "Portal" on the navigation bar? I wouldnt mind changing the "Home" text either.

Try this:
Copy your portal url and save it.
In portal management choose NO for show the portal
Then in Display>Headers and navigation> add customized menu
In the create menu box
Fill in the fields
name it Welcome
using the saved url for the portal as your redirection url
and save.
then in the nav links list use the arrows to move the new welcome nav link into the position you want.



Of course I don't know it this works with all versions, i use phpbb3.
and, apparently I am an idiot and a moron, but as you can see it worked for me and YES the redirection works too.
