Need assistance creating an icon from existing one (part 2)
Hey everyone,
Ok, for review, this was my original thread about this topic and has since been closed: https://help.forumotion.com/finished-requests-f34/need-assistance-creating-an-icon-from-existing-one-t34146.htm
Sorry for another question and since my original requests were met. However, now I'm wondering if I can create an animated file (like an animated gif) combining 2 .png images? I would like to combine the icon that was used to indicate "no new posts", with the one that does indicate "new posts" and make it flash or animate. Is this possible? I've googled this, but can't find any definite answers. I would need the animated image to still be transparent though and as viewed by looking at my original question in the link above.
Thanks again to all, very much

Hi Sanket...that is great, but it's not a transparent image. Thanks for trying though, this was all I could do with the images as well.

Yes...if you look at the original thread about these icons, you can see how the areas outside the circle are transparent and blend into whatever background you use.

Thats what the gif i posted does, shows the background color instead of white.

No it doesn't. If you try this icon on your own forum and use it to indicate new posts in a forum, you will see what I mean. I'm not trying to criticize you by any means, but I do need a transparent animated image to work properly on my forum or it will look amateurish and silly.
