My Forum link - http://xtremetrucking.forumotion.net/forum.htm

Hi, i have 2 problems that i need help with, so far i have restrained myself from looking for help and trying to solve problems myself but for these 2 problems I'm a bit baffled.

Problem 1.
I am trying to change the colour of the Nav bar from the current Green colour to a red colour but i do not know how to do so.

Problem 2.
Also, when i change the text colour or hover link colour, in the preview it shows all the forum description text in the forum change and the links change colour correctly when hovered over but when i apply the changes and then look at the forum, the colour changes only has applied itself to the chat box not the forum which is not what i intended to happen.

Hello Matticus!

Yes, I was having issues with color changes in the forum too. I can help you with the first problem . . not sure about the 2nd, so we'll wait til someone else comes along.

You are wanting to change the Nav bar background. The way to do that is by going into your css style sheet. I assume you are familiar enough to get to the css?

So, Scroll down the sheet, looking for a section called MENU TAGS
Then look for this and change the part in red . . .

.navbar {
clear: both;
background-color: #02710e;
padding:0px 10px;
}

As you can guess, these other colors you want to change will be in the css too. You'll need to find them and change them to hold the colors.

Hope this has help a bit . . . bev

You might change your title to something like:
Help changing text color in CSS . .. that might bring the right people along:-)

Glad problem one is fixed!
