Background Help Please - Not Theme

I want to post a background as a new topic .........ie make my mailbox have it's own background - mail box layout (not changing the group's theme).

My background tiles are stored in photobucket.

I need the code used here to do this.

(yes I am coming here from MSN groups - The codes from MSN Groups does not work here.)
(basic HTML doesn't seem to work either)

Is there any place here that lists acceptable codes we can use with our own backgrounds - again not doing anything with the groups themes - just for individual posts?

I see beautiful backgrounds in posts but have no idea how they do it or what code to use.
Everyone I have asked about it said they would get back to me, but never did.
