Solved Scrolling annoucements

I have noticed on a few forums that you can do scrolling annoucements at the top of the board! (there is one also on this forum to the side). how do I go about doing it?

For an announcement:
You can use the homepage message. with the
Code:
 <marquee>
tag.
Display>homepage>generalities.
Code:
<marquee>your announcement goes here!</marquee>

for the side scrolling you see on this forum, you manage that through the forum widgets. go to Modules>widgets management
