hello again how to modify portal??? [take a look] Naughty

can anyone tell me how can i modify the "yellow" area on my portal?
i mean to write on it any news or something !!!

In the portal management>portal pages list>structure
go to the addition of existing widgets and choose something from the drop down box with the location to be column 2.
so if you want the news in the middle
choose widget: news
location: column 2

Once you get more than one widget into column 2 you can drag and drop into the position you want.

You can also create a widget ex: WELCOME
you do that in the addition/deletion of personal widgets.
same proceedure once you have them created to choose widget from the drop down box and choose location.

ok i crated the "news" on the columm2 ...now how can i place a txt there?
also i would like to know how can i make a topic sticky !!!

For Sticky :
Edit the topic and select sticky in Options.

What do you mean "put a txt" ????

Are you sure you are in portal management? and not widget management?
with the widgets management you only have column 1 and 3 because column 2 is your forum content.
