Can't have Gif avatars???

It's really annoying, everytime i, or a member, tries to change their avatar to a gif, it ether:
A. Doesn't move.
B. Says it's TOO big, which it's not.

Any reason why it does this?

dunno maybe phpBB3 doesnt allow GIF avatars?

Something you can try:

Instead of putting the URL in the 'Upload an Avatar from an URL' put your url in the 'Link to an off-site Avatar' and save

THATS JUST THE STYLE!

Figure it out, when u change version ALL YOU CHANGE IS STYLE, IT IS EXACTLY THE SAME functionality as before..

it's the FILE size that matters not the height/width.

Yes you can .gif avi with version three

just do what akashic said to do--only using photobucket or something else, not servimg
