My forum has gone all to hell

Okay, so my forums were one of the many forums that went down in the server crash, BUT, my forums came back up about 20 minutes later.

HOWEVER, I can't do anything to it all. I can log into the admin panel just fine, and change any of the options I like. BUT, even though I click 'SUBMIT' or 'SAVE' it doesn't take it any of the changes I made. It acts like I did nothing at all.

To make matters worse, when I click a thread to read it, I get the following error message...

GENERAL ERROR: CANNOT OBTAIN POST/USER INFORMATION

and of course, I have no clue what that means or how to fix it. This is really annoying as I was just starting to get into this, so any help on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.
