can't set for guest only viewing
I made a forum and I only wanted it to be viewed by guests looking at the outer board but the permissions won't let me click for guests only ... what can I do?
If I set it to guest it auto ticks all above

You can't have anything viewed by guests that can't be viewed by members. Anything guests can do members can do.

That's not right.
You can make it so that Guest cant see the forum but members can.
You just cant have guest having their own forum and not letting members see it.

Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose. Wouldn't you WANT People to join so the CAN see the specific thing?

Yeah, I know that, I mean that anything that guests can see, members see as well.

Re: can't set for guest only viewing
I had the same question as the original poster.
I only want this because I have only one forum viewable by guests, but it only tells them how to register. I want it to be once you sign in, that forum isn't visible anymore (who needs to know how to register once they are registered??? right???). Members don't need it. As of now, I have that forum at the bottom of the rest of the forums (for people logged in), but it's irritating as hell.

This is what I have it saying ... but I'm the only one who can see it lmao will delete it shortly lol
correction.. I've put it on the portal on TRR ... It'll have to do there ... members can see it but only if they click on the portal... it isn't staring them in the face all the time
