Icons that say Forum read don't work any more.

Hi........
this is what one of my members said on my forum , called Polly, to me.

I'm having a very annoying problem with Polly - when I'm on the home
page
I can see which are the new threads by the yellow icons on the side. So
I might, say, go into the Technology forum because it has a new reply /
thread. I check it out and when I eventually get back to the home
page to open some more forums with new replies, all the new thread
icons are gone on the left - no longer yellow, all look "Read". This
has been happening all week and I'm wondering what to do about it.

I used to "Mark Forum Read" down the bottom of the forums before I go
back to the home page but gave up on that because no matter what I do,
what I've mentioned above happens anyway.

RAR, I have just discovered the same problem. This has only happened recently.
Why? well as a guess the technicians at niceboards , who do all the maintenance and mods to Polly and other forums made a boo boo.
They added a forum jump at the bottom of every page to navigate the forum easier but in doing so must have screwed the code which makes the yellow icons disappear.
I will tell them about it now and hopefully it will be fixed in the next couple of days.

Yes, this is a problem, I must agree

If you don't do a thing on the forum for 3 minutes, all the messages will be marked read, but unfortunately we can't do a thing about it
