INVITE MEMBERS ONLY?

HELP!!
I am trying to set up a closed forum to where only members can join by being invited by me but I can't seem to find ANYWHERE that would allow me to do this? So far anyone could just reigster to be a member, get a link sent to their email and that's it but I want to be the one that gives or doesn't give them this right. PLEASE tell me if you offer this on your forums.

I don't think that is possible right now

I agree I do not think it is possible right now. If you want you can put it in the suggestions for your forums section.

If you want there is a way where only the Admin can approve members. For example if someone were to register at your site you can see if you want that person to be a member or not.

Head to Users & Groups>> Users options>> New accounts activation>> Check Admin and SAVE.
