making signatures longer

How do I allow longer Singatures on my forum?

Currently the max length for all forumotion forums is 500 characters. This cannot be lengthened unless forumotion itself resets the required character field. Sorry.

If you would like to suggest longer signatures, then you can by going the the Suggestions Forum of this board and making a new topic with your suggestion.

Some helpful hints to getting the most out of your signature limit:

Host your images on TinyPic.com as it provides a shorted URL, thus saving you more characters.
Keep your message concise (short and to the point)
Keep BBCodes to a minimum. Everytime you use the BBcode for 'Bold' you have to use 7 characters. Same goes for Italics and Underline
