Adding a real time digital looking clock to the home page? Empty Adding a real time digital looking clock to the home page?

Post by Brad38 February 19th 2009, 5:43 pm

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to add a real time digital looking clock to the home page? I know there was a real time dial clock option somewhere, but what about a nice digital looking clock? Also, if this is possible, does it remove the "Current date and time" that is at the top of the forum or would this have to done separately?

Thanks Smile

http://www.timeanddate.com/clocks/free.html

There are a few options, get the code & add it to your homepage message.

Hope this helps.

I think you'll have to google this one.
Unfortunately I don't know of any handy site with clocks.

But use google to locate some fashionable clocks... then just post the html code that will be given into a new widget...

try these:
http://www.clocklink.com/gallery.php?category=DIGITAL
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/clocks/wtsclock001.aspx
http://freeflashclocks.eu/blog/

^^ the last one is nice

Hi Jalokim and Sanket.....thanks Smile

I didn't want to do this with a widget though or in my homepage message. I was kinda hoping that one could be used in PLACE of the time/date that is on our forums now. I was looking at some phpBB3 skins from the phpBB skin's site and saw that some of the skins have this "built" in, if you know what I mean. Embarassed

well unless there is a way to add it in a css code. the only way you can have it there is if you are useing phpbb2 or punbb to place it via template edit.. it will most likely work but i would need the code to test it and make sure i get it there and you would have to be useing phpbb2 or punnbb.
